Water Street Haven

Water Street Haven is one of our favorite spots in town and an easy walk from the center of New Paltz. The menu is fresh Mediterranean, the portions are generous, and most dishes are big enough to stretch into a second meal. It is run by one person who cares about every plate, so expect a little wait and food that is worth it.

Grab a table outside by the fountains on a nice day. The salmon over rice and the baklava both come up again and again from guests who have been. If you are heading out for a hike, it also makes a solid stop on the way back into town.
