Escape to the Dream House in the Gunks, a multi-level forest villa designed for rest, reconnection, and group experiences. Nestled in the Shawangunk Ridge, this spacious retreat blends artistic design, natural beauty, and comfort across four unique levels. Whether you’re planning a wellness retreat, a family gathering, or a creative residency, this home offers the space and intention to support it all.

The main living level welcomes you with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and skylights that bathe the space in natural light. A cozy reading nook sits to the right of the entry, while an open-concept kitchen with bar seating allows guests to cook and connect. Beyond the kitchen is a large handmade dining table for 8 to 10 guests, a comfortable lounge with a wood-burning stove, and sliding doors that lead to a private forest-view deck. There’s also a quiet nook tucked beside the kitchen—perfect for a morning coffee or a bit of solitude.

The main floor also includes two thoughtfully designed bedrooms. One offers two queen beds; the other includes a queen bed and an American Leather sleeper sofa that unfolds into a high-comfort queen bed. A full bathroom and a laundry room with washer and dryer complete this level.

Just above the dining area is the secluded master suite. This private sanctuary includes a queen bed, vaulted ceilings, large windows, a futon for additional guests, and a spa-like bathroom with its own shower. Step out onto the private balcony to find a natural wood-clad hot tub and Adirondack chairs overlooking the trees—a perfect space for morning meditation or evening stargazing.

Downstairs, the sun lounge level is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and functions like its own apartment. A Moroccan-inspired tea room offers a huge wraparound sofa for group lounging. The level also includes a small bar, kitchen, yoga mats, free weights, a sleeping nook with futon, a propane fireplace, and a second washer and dryer.

Below that is the lower-level retreat. The centerpiece is a 110-inch home theater with Apple TV, two convertible sofas, natural wood and stone details, heated floors, and Bluetooth speakers. A handmade game table by a Woodstock artisan anchors a creative reading nook. This level also includes a private queen bedroom, a small bathroom, and a hallway that leads to a dedicated yoga and meditation room.

The yoga room features Thai mats, square sitting cushions, a hand-built altar, a Japanese straw mat centerpiece, a projector for guided sessions, and natural rock walls. It’s a sacred-feeling space for movement, reflection, or group circles.

All queen beds are high-end Casper or Nectar mattresses with luxury linens. The home sleeps up to 12 guests comfortably, with flexibility for retreats and larger groups. Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. Guests will also find a Level-2 EV charger, premium coffee and tea options, two laundry setups, and outdoor spaces that include a firepit, decks, and forest seating.
